The Nervures of Marbe

Abstract

Starting from a reflection present in Umberto Eco’s Text “Kant and the Duckbill Platypus, which concerns the border between spirit and matter, the purpose of this work is to reexamine some of Eco’s affirmations on the existences of presemiotic forms of the reality in order to develop a naturalist conception of meaning; according to which it’s form depends on its own organization of matter.
